3-Way Valve Actuator Goldline
The 3-Way valve actuator is used to motorize the turning of a 3-way valve on the greywater plumbing system. The standard 3-way diverter valve used for greywater systems can be manually controlled by turning the handle on top of the valve - with the addition of a actuator installers can
It is common for the 3-way valve to be installed in a difficult-to-reach location outside or under the house. In these cases we recommend using an actuator on an indoor switch the turn the valve. The 3-way valve actuator gets mated to the 3-way valve in this type of installation and connected to a convenient switch inside. The actuator requires 24 volts to operate which in most homes requires a transformer, unless you already have a 24V power source near the actuator.
Note: We also sell separately a 3-Way Valve Actuator Switch Kit, which includes the transformer, unique switch and all the items needed to automate the switch of a 3-way valve.
